REVIEW OF RECORDS UNCOVERS SHOCKING ANAMOLIES

HOUSTON, TEXAS - Republican activists from Nueces County have completed their review of the records related to the Nueces County Republican Convention, which were received pursuant to a Writ of Mandamus issued by the 13th Court of Appeals. After a thorough review of these records, several areas of concern have been identified.

The most egregious issue is the inclusion of some 151 delegates whose names appear in the County Convention registration book or on the credentials committee report but do not appear in the minutes of any Precinct Convention as provided by County Chair Mike Bertuzzi. These apparently unelected delegates include several prominent members of the Nueces County Republican Party. Over 60% of the precinct delegations at the County Convention are affected.

"We believe at least 36 delegates failed to vote in the Republican Primary, which would make them ineligible to serve in the capacity of delegate," said Vanessa Cahill. "Another 36 of the delegates appear to have been added at the Nueces County Convention, by members of the Credential Committee. The Credentials Committee Chairman actually appears to be among the names added."

More information will be made available as it can be verified.
